I have my utensils in colored mason jars across the mantle in my kitchen. My enamelware is in a hutch. My hutch is white/red backboard and my enamelware is white/black edging to match the kitchen table so the colors really stand out for me.I put up a shelf to hold my antique cookbooks and I display pieces with them too. I live in a house that is over 100 yrs, old so it fits the house well.

If you have a little extra money, you could get a stainless steel sheet and magnetic hooks to display your items. Or you could spray paint your peg board black.

I think “chrome” and/or black are the best colors to lay old red and white pieces against. It adds to the retro feel :)
