How long is it ok to keep the baby in the room, while you’re having sex?

I am planning on keeping our soon to be born (next week) son in our room beside our bed for the first 6months, what about beyond that? At what age is it wrong to keep him in our room while were havig sex?

Trust me on this one. As soon as the baby is old enough to stare at what you are doing you will get creeped out. As soon as possible it is a good idea for the baby to get used to sleeping in their own room or else having sex is going to be real tough when the baby can’t get used to sleeping alone.

Blah, its so simple…When he starts turning on lights and his movie crew asks you to cheat left to the camera more during the climax scene.

Or, when he starts crying for more charcoal to finish his nude sketches of you and your hubby.

We were told that a child of one knows what is taking place around them. That a child that already stands will have deep memories of what they have seen. And a child of two that is talking may rat you out if cheating for a Hughe Barney Doll. So, just be careful

I’d get him out of the room by the time he is 16

What is your first and youngest memory ? do you remember anything before two Y/O or three ?

  • M:

I’d have more respect for myself than that.

If he’s asleep, it’s fine up to about a year but once he can talk…. Nope!
Seriously , tho…if he is really smart and aware, you may want to move him out sooner. Also, you will be needing to get him used to being without you at night and learning to put himself back to sleep around the same time, so just play it by ear. 😉 Get the book “what to expect the first year” If you havnt already..and CONGRATS! Your life will be forever changed. 😉

How about once he starts talking and knowing what is going on around him. I’d say..about a year! I don’t know y any1 would want to have their baby right next to them? I used to use the walk down the hallway to wake up! By the time I got to the nursery…I was more awake and more capable of functioning! LOL

Ok the way hubby and I did it is that, once they were too old/big for the bassinet/cradle, then they went into a cot in their own room. That was about 3-4 months of age.
And for those who say “When are you going to have time for sex?” as a Mum of 4, I say “Where there’s the will, there’s a way”.
