  • I bet no one reads the instructions that come with this thing, but I did, and they make no sense. For example, “We recommend that you hand wash your bakeware…however it can be cleaned in the dishwasher if necessary…DO NOT IMMERSE OR SOAK your insulated bakeware.

Nice work guys…I am pretty sure a dishwasher is going to immerse it in water and probably soak it to some degree.

Another example, You may use spray oils with your bakeware…However, DO NOT USE SPRAY OILS TO COOK IN ANY CUISINART COOKWARE ITEMS.

  • I was so excited when this pan arrived, but that changed with the very first use. I followed the instructions for hand washing and drying the pan beforehand, but when I poured in the batter, it leaked everywhere! All over my tablecloth and floor – I was livid. Turns out there is a seam in the center connecting the two parts of this cheap pan. If it weren’t such a pain to return things to amazon, I would have. As it is, I’m just going to eat the cost and go buy one that doesn’t have a leaky seam.

Received an over-priced Nordic Ware as a gift and returned it, purchased this (plus a couple of other deals at Amazon) with the same money. Very happy with it. Since Nordic Ware recommends you grease and flour pan just like the less expensive pans, I personally did not need the extra size or brand name for the money. If I baked bundts all the time, I would have stayed with Nordic for the reputation and longevity – but since I bake a few a year, did not believe it was worth the money for me. This size is more appropriate for most of my recipes and worked great with a little nonstick spray and a dusting of flour. Could not have turned out a better cake or easier to dump out. The ridges are not as defined, so if that is a factor for you, it will not be the pan for you. But I personally don’t care about all the grooves – just want a really good cake that comes out well and can be glazed, frosted or left alone. The first cake baked was a pound cake with a chocolate layer in the middle – and it turned out beautifully. A perfect omega shaped chocolate layer in every slice. Very happy I made the switch.

  • I bought this to make a pumpking cake for my nephews birthday by baking two of them and placing them together one upside down on top of the other. The surface is nice and I love the pan, it’s really heavy and heavy duty as well. I wish some instructions would have come with it as far as approximate baking time though because I didn’t know how long to cook the cake for, but I managed to figure it out. It’s a very nice pan which I will have for a long time to come, and a super value for the money.
