  • I am a professional fish cleaner. I clean fish for a living. These knives are the sharpest I have ever used. I suggest caution for the novice.

  • Very very sharp knife–as in, sliced off some of my skin and didn’t realize for several seconds! 😉 My husband says that it’s hard for him to use, though, because the handle’s shorter than he’d like it to be. I’ve never noticed, and I would say I have fairly average sized hands.

  • This is absolutely the best 20 bucks I’ve ever spent in my life. The little blade is deceptively sharp. I was manhandling it like I would my regular 8″ chef’s knife, and managed to cut into my hand. Two hours later, I noticed that I’d cut into my hand, because I stained a piece of paper red by accident. Also, the nonstick surface really works. It makes it so that onions you’re chopping don’t stick to the blade. If I could, I’d buy one for all my friends.

  • I was kind of skeptical when I got the knife as a gift, but when I started using it, I fell in love. This thing cut through a rutabaga like it was butter.
