  • It really does a great job–I’ve made hummus by the ton with it, so smooth…and wonderful smoothies and slushies…and salsa, refried beans…chopped candy canes to top almond bark for Christmas candy…just to name a few things it does. The double blades really make it different than a regular blender or food processor. I love it!

  • the gear to the motor stripped and will not supply power to the blades. 800 support is a nightmare. ten minutes to get to a person. nobody speaks english, 20 minutes just to confirm name and address and now i am on indefinite hold.

  • I’m writing a review on the Ninja because its fantastic. I make protein smoothies and chop vegies. I have even chopped raw celery root, which is the hardest veggie I have ever cut up. My cooking time is greatly decreased because I can chop things up quickly. Sam’s Club has a great deal on this right now, comes with the big blender container and three of the smaller containers for veggies–all for $50. By the way, this outdoes my Vita Mix by a mile. I have even used it to make cashew cream and think it could be used for nut butters w/o a problem.

  • I purchased this about a week ago and have put it to use probably 10 times – especially during Thanksgiving prep! It is so quick and easy – the blades are amazingly sharp, i love the interchangable bottoms so that you can chop and then just move the top electric unit over to the next container. We’ve made ice cream, snow cones, drinks, chopped veggies for recipes – the list goes on and on. I’m buying more as Christmas gifts! Just be careful, the blades are extremely sharp, we had 3 cuts already with them!
